I've heard about Detail Master from you.But if I ever got around to making a diorama,I'd like to make all the miniature stuff myself like you have done with this build. That would make the process so much more rewarding. And so much more FUN!!
But I guess some stuff like photo-etched parts for detailing jobs have to be left to the professionals.Like APM and Tremonia and all those other brands I keep hearing about.Smile

Inside every man is a little kid who wants to play.

Yeah for the diorama, making things our own is the most rewarding. As of rthe phot etch parts, my biggest concern is that they are 2 dimesional and so the fun is lost. What do you say??

And then the highly detailed Alfa that I got has the full engine bay made of just one material PLASTIC and painted in different colors to give that effect.

I some how love the multi material use for the builds and the details.

Thanks mate, there is no space inside the engine bay for me to put this highly detailed battery and being 1:24 the boot does no open. Let me search for a alternate location.

I'm a big big fan of dioramas. I've plans of making a 1:18 garage some time in future, currently trying to get my hands on the garage accessory kit by Snap On.

Great, snap on is good. Shop around and you may find a deal too. Check amazon too, some times they have cheaper stuffs.

I have a 1:12 race team set with tools. (comprises of driver, manager and mechanics). Tools include hand tools, Jack, fire extinguisher, welding machine and cans. It is a kit by Tamiya.

Yeah the details are something to die for. If possible upload some pics of your 1:12 kit, it would be great.
You know if Tamiya has something in 1:18???
