(10-25-2011 04:51 PM)abhi_c Wrote:  Greenlight - 1:64 scale diecast,mostly of 1960s and 1970s Muscle Cars.

Greenlight also makes some 1:18 scale-models.

And while we're at it,I thought I'd add the names of a few model manufacturers that haven't been mentioned. If you can think of more, please add to the list!

Amalgam
Makes very very (really very) high-end 1:8 resin scale-models of modern as well as historic cars.Custom-made and hand-crafted,miniature replicas don't get more detailed or life-like.Nor as expensive. Also made 1:43 replicas of the A1 racing cars.
And will make model yachts on special order.

Exoto
Maker of very high-end 1:43,1:18 and 1:10 diecast metal replicas of some of the most historic subjects.Exoto's products truly are some 'furiously detailed' masterpieces.

FrontiArt
Brand new company.Offers sealed resin scale-models of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 and McLaren MP4-12C in 1:18 scale and a few more products in 1:43 scale under the 'Semi-Simulation' line. Also makes some 1:43 Porsche 911 (997) GT3-RS models with opening parts under the 'Simulation Line'.

GMP
Super desirable 1:18 diecast metal scale-models of historic Ferrari race cars and an enormous range of American muscle also in 1:18.Very cool miniature garage equipment sets for dioramas are also a big hit.

Highway 61
American muscle cars in 1:18 scale.From what I hear,they make the best 1:18 Hummer H2 you'll find.

LookSmart
Very exclusive and beautifully detailed 1:43 resin models.

MakeUp
Pretty much the same description as that of LookSmart.

Model Icons
New manufacturer.Offers fairly exclusive 1:18 diecast metal scale-models of the Jaguar MkII and some UK Police Ford Escorts so far. Also makes some 1:43 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X cop cars.

MR Collection
Highly exclusive sealed resin 1:18 and 1:43 scale-models of the most desirable modern cars.

Paragon
A line of exclusive resin scale-models by Jadi ModelCraft. They've announced only the 1968 Rolls Royce MPW 2-Door Coupe in 1:18 scale and 2011 Bentley Continental GT in 1:12 so far.

Paudi Models and Other Chinese Manufacturers
Nicely detailed 1:18 Dealer Edition diecast metal models of some pretty everyday cars no other manufacturer makes.Suggested starting point for anyone about to go looking for a 1:18 scale-model of their daily driver. Also some pretty oddball Chinese vehicles.

Peako Models
Another new kid on the block tapping into that most popular of model car genres - supercars.1:18 Pagani Zonda Cinque and Gumpert Apollo are the only offerings so far.Along with a 1:8 Pagani Zonda Cinque.Sealed.Resin.Very limited production runs.

Spark
Awesome range of rather exclusive 1:43 and 1:18 resin scale-models of some rare subject matters.Very desirable racing cars from the past and present as well as some truly kick-ass road cars like those RUF Porsches.

Tecnomodel
Mostly 1:43 resin models.Recently ventured into the 1:18 market with an awesome Aston Martin One77.Sealed.Resin.Exclusive.

True Scale Miniatures
Resin as well as some diecast models of the greatest cars in 1:8,1:18 and 1:43 scale.Insanely desirable and truly unique selection of subject matter.TSM also offers some neat miniature Snap-On garage accessories, engines and figurines.

Inside every man is a little kid who wants to play.
