RE: Hamann Ferrari 612
The Stripes have always been there bro.
I bought the car three years ago and modded it around two months after I bought it. IT even had a set of massive BBS wheels on it which are not on my w220 S-Klasse.

RE: Hamann Ferrari 612
Cyrus....that 612 looks hot man!! Way way better and more cool looking than the standard stock 612. BTW, what all mod jobs did you do on this one?? That black grill totally changes the look of the stock 612, can't figure out why Ferrari gave the stock one such an ugly looking silver front grill in the first place.
My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston) ![]() picasaweb.google.com/karansharma8783 |

RE: Hamann Ferrari 612
I like those kit parts there. They lend sorely needed muscle to the design!

RE: Hamann Ferrari 612
This one's come out real good. The black bits look great. And they match those stripes perfectly! You've built yourself a really enviable collection of custom Hamann Ferraris,Cyrus!!
I wonder how successful this Hamann creation was though. The 612 Scaglietti was always aimed at the more mature Ferrari enthusiast.Someone with a taste for subtlety and understatement. This Hamann kit has transformed this long-legged grand tourer into a 'Look At Me!' flash-and-bang street racer.Don't get me wrong.I like this a lot better than the stock car.But that's because I think like a twelve year old! A chap like me would go for the sort of Ferrari that turns heads even in standard guise. This custom special is a bit confusing when you factor that in.
Inside every man is a little kid who wants to play. |

RE: Hamann Ferrari 612
O la la la, the stock trim of 612 is as discreet as the alter ego of Superman, while this is as much in your face as Superman with his red undies over pant.
