The models we want are out of reach and the models we can afford are no longer desirable.

Hahahaha...isn't that always the case in this mad hobby Winston?? Smile Point in case, Autoart's were 3500 till about 3 yrs back or so (when I was in college) and now when I have finally got a job, they come for a whopping 5750 Tongue

WOW, didn't know only 4 had come in originally. And all sold out?? Damn man, I was someday hoping to add the green one to my collection. I have seen the green one which Siddvi has when I had visited his place in Bangalore and it was just staggering. Couldn't get my eyes off it Smile
I'm sorry, I meant case in point and not point in case above....guess I'm taking too much coca-cola these days Big Grin Tongue

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

RE: Coming Soon!!
Yes.I believe Nikhil is now an official distributor for SunStar Models in India. My guess is that the buses will almost certainly become available again.Last time I spoke to him about consignments he was expecting,he mentioned his plans to eventually make the entire SunStar catalogue available here.He is also trying to get a similar arrangement going with Norev.I think it's too early to speak about those plans but Norev is one brand that needs to be brought in.More power to him!!

RE: Coming Soon!!
The original release dates back to October of 2004.But I think it was recently re-released or is in the pipeline.I dunno exactly how rare it is.But Kyosho 1:18 Ferraris and Lamborghinis are sought after and have a tendency to become 'rare' after a while. What I do know is that I want it.The Countach is one car I want as many versions of as I can get my hands on.The LP400 with the 'Roof Wing' definitely features on the list.I'm pretty sure it comes without rear-view mirrors.By the way, here's some info I dug up on this rather special Countach.
This white Lamborghini Countach was the first car customized for Walter Wolf,a Canadian race team owner.
Wolf insisted on having something special so he convinced the factory to install a roof mounted wing making this white car stand out in a crowd.
Later on Walter Wolf would order three more highly customized Countach models, a red LP500S, a blue LP500S and a dark blue LP500S that was actually the very first Countach S production model (these cars were called LP500S because he had a 5-Liter custom engine on loan from the factory).
