I'll meet you guys at the MV station at 4 sharp  Karan is back home in Jamshedpur so can't make it and Ashish aka Abacus is stuck at work and his arrival seems low too. Bandhav is comin on his own and will meet us at the Mall. Slix, I hope you are carrying your camera today too...

I pulled out my other cam from the closet only to find out that the memory card is corrupted. Hell yeah, it was fun! Turning modelart topsy turvy looking for old AAs. Too bad there were only numerous examples of the Toyota MR2 now...
Saw the Zonda R in the flesh, nice model but too much plastic for the price, nonetheless it has massive display presence. Though nothing new, I was appalled again by how callously these guys handle the models... the glossy black Reventon had dust and finger prints all over it - when I asked them to open the doors, they literally wrestled with the mechanism and pulled the doors up... the engine cover and the boot struts wouldn't stay up, neither the side vents open fully. What a pity, cus I really liked what I saw, the Reventon is an excellent model by Autoart and I kick myself now for not having picked it up earlier. I am glad for Stingray, Spandy and Slix - they all found the scoot/ bike models they needed! Sad day though, Pratham lost someone yesterday and Winston's dad passed away in the morning while battling cancer. I had the honor of meeting his dad when I was in Mumbai - great courage and a through gentleman. I saluted him back then when I was leaving and pray that he is at peace now, the pain is over and he is in a better place. Amen. |

My condolences with you and your family Winston. Losing someone is very very difficult, but like Gugga said, we pray that he is in a better place now.
On another note, glad you guys could meet up. Time for some pics! |

Sorry to hear about another death. Deep condolences to you and your family Winston.
Just heard about one more expiry - a young friend from my locality, even he was an automobile enthusiast and the best driver I've ever come across. And about Modelart - the experience was as bad, but it was fun. @Slix : Yeah I got an auto from there, reached my place without hassels, thanks @Spandan : Thanks for the ride buddy, I loved that sticker on your rear windshield. I'll upload the snap here soon @Gugga : Mera Mc D ka burgerr due raha  Ek bar shift kar lun bahut party karenge  Right now I'm at the New Delhi railway station waiting for the train to arrive.
