Chevelle SS 454 1970: OTT Muscle.

This was a part of my 6 model Welly haul back in December 2009 on Christmas eve. The good old days when 6 cars used to cost round about 7k... sigh...

There was a kid, probably 8 years old, extremely irritating, who got his hands on the box before I could . This being the only example, I grabbed it out of his clutching hands and muttered a pretty audible "chutiya" as he ran screaming to his mommy. Anyways, mommy didn't interfere. Good for her.

Moving on to the model, I love this one to bits. Its just so OTT! I can't actually believe that GM made this for customers and it was legal to drive this thing on the streets. The paint is an excellent yellow metallic, the engine is well detailed, the interior has legible gauges, the lights and the wheels are done very well too. For 1500 bucks, I can't ask for more.
However, the cherry on the cake is the stance of this car because of those massive tires at the back.

AWESOME!!!!Love this Chevelle!!For some reason,I never came across this particular Welly at any of the local stores in Mumbai.I have the standard car by Maisto in silver with black stripes.Would love to get this to go with it.The yellow paint looks amazing and the hood scoop and stance are insane.This is one ridiculous street car every muscle collection needs.
