Have you seen the designs that Frontier Airlines have on their planes? I guess you definitely would have. Even Alaska Airlines puts on some wonderful animal themed designs on their aircraft.

Yup!... thats what i thought when i saw this plane... maybe our die-casts are in it!! Tongue Tongue Big Grin

i've seen the liveries on some Alaska airlines planes... fantastic to say the least! Smile

however in the world of die-casts, the more unique the livery, the more expensive the model!! Sad

Kingfisher Airlines A380 (Phoenix)

(Latest addition as of 20 April 2012)

This is a very rare 1/400 scale model...
Kingfisher ordered 5 of these mammoth planes but none have been delivered yet... and with the problems Kingfisher has been having lately, looks like the 1:1s will never go into production!!

I was very happy when i won this in an e-Bay auction!! Smile Smile this will, no doubt, be one of my prized processions! Smile

Great shots of the Plane as usual.
Had seen a similar KF A380,I think it was a 1: 200 scale for about 80 euros. I let it go that time.

Awesome man, just awesome. The finishing of these are so neat, keep 'em coming. The white/red combo looks amazing. Also does the wheels have some suspension kinda thing to lift it from the front?

Thanx a ton Slix! Smile

the wheels do not have any kind of suspension!... they are designed to pivot forwards and backwards just like a real 1:1 plane... i made it take off by adding some weight on the back of the fuselage, which can't be seen in the pic! Smile Big Grin

Freaking awesome Gaurav! That's my favorite plane ever. I didn't have a clue that KF has A380 aircrafts, all I know is that our country still doesn't have proper runways for an A380.

Great haul Gaurav. Congrats!
@Srinjay: We still don't have the A380. KF has only ordered them, not received them. Now I doubt we will ever get to see the A380 in operation unless some other airline orders!
