True, after thinking a lot I was actually ordering two models last weekend but the page after entering the card details didn't redirect for some reason and I couldn't proceed with the payment. Things went wrong before the transaction was proceeded thankfully. I mailed them telling the same. Got a reply in 24 hrs but all it had was instructions of other payment options available, didn't do anything to resolve the issue. I didn't even bother responding, din feel like purchasing from Vicky.in at the moment.
I don't trust what they list, important details such as color is missing, the pictures and the text doesn't match on almost half of the listings plus a lotta models are overpriced. And over that they charge a lot for shipping.

Firstcry is totally awesome. They changed their policies recently, now one can have COD on orders of any value plus free shipping on all orders. Packaging is superb.

DCM needs COD with no extra charges real bad.

Hi Slix, noted your concern which is indeed genuine. COD or POD charges (as we say it) are something that are charged to us by the courier company which we in turn charge from customers, at actuals. And at the moment it wont be feasible for us to omit these. However, it is our endeavor to improve consistently and to provide best service to customers as we progress. You will see a lot of benefits of being attached with us in times ahead.

Removing POD charges will be on our priority list. Not to worry

Vicky.in has the over priced models by Gift Centre and are quite old. I remember seeing some of them when I last visited the store some six months back. I bought a 1:18 scale Kyosho model of BMW X5 SUV for Rs. 6500/-, almost Rs. 1500/- more than what Automania sells. After that I bought a Mustang from that store for which I had to wait for the entire day!

I hope all this changes when there are real collectors (like Rakhesh) doing this business.

I have also recently procured two Sun Star models from Vicky.in and, except for the delay in sending them across, the models were packed well. Hope this remains for any forthcoming models I order!

Recently planned to buy a Eldorado from Vicky.in. Even got my debit card out to enter the details but just as i saw their shipping charges i backed out. A day later one person calls me and directs to pay for a product (and listed all the payment modes) which i never ordered. He seemed confused and upon asking for what i need to pay, he said its your choice. Just choose whatever u want and pay through various modes. I am calling on behalf of website.. thank you.

I cancelled an order because for some reason the transaction couldn't succeed. I was not able to pay on multiple tries so I decided to leave it. The following week I received multiple mails saying that I had pending items & several payment methods were listed, I din' do anything after that.
