RE: 1/18 Mercedes C63 AMG
There is a lot going in for DSLR, there is so much you can do with these machines.
But then in normal conditions a point and shoot camera will also yeild good results. I have seen people taking awesome pictures with the I phone.

For now I am sold to the Cannon EOS 550 Big Grin. My brothers and sisters all own the same, awesome camera @ 38 grand only.

After all its the skill behind the camera that results in awesome photographs! Big Grin

DSLR talk, Yay! Am in! Big Grin
Its been months since I am confused between a Canon 550D & a Nikon D5100. Can't decide which one to buy, both are awesome.
Already held both like a 100 times and they feel equally great.
I believe I'll spend some more time with both the machines & finally get one next week. Lets hope.

P.S.- My GranTurismo could've been shot with a DSLR only if I would've been able to make up my mind. Well, doesn't matter, you guys liked the pics anyways....LOL! Tongue

550D vs D5100!!!
this is probably the greatest battle between two brands constantly at war in the consumers mind!!
Both cameras are superb!
There are numerous advantages of buying either one of these cams...
Being a Canon owner myself, i won't give you my opinion, since i'll obviously be biased towards the 550D...
However, it'll all come down to you as an individual at the end...
i suggest going for the camera that your heart desires and one that you'll feel most comfortable using!!
Whichever you finally end buying... you won't regret the decision!! Big Grin Big Grin

D90 was a terrific camera!!
Unfortunately Cyrus... the D90 is now sadly no more.
Nokia retired the model earlier this year!!

Plus D90 was a mid entry DSLR and not so light on the wallet!!
The 550D and the D5100 are considered to be entry level DSLRs and priced considerably lower than the D90! Smile

I know! Big Grin
Now the problem is that D5100 is super short on stock, hence its nowhere on display for a demo.

True!
I was gonna get D90 only but eventually I decided not to for two reasons:
1. This will be my first DSLR.
2. Like already said, its really old.

I know you meant Nikon only, happens. Tongue
Well, the D90 is still very much available, but am pretty sure it'll be getting a replacement very soon.
Agree to the other part.
