The W114, produced between the late-60s and the mid-70s, was a successful model for Mercedes Benz, especially in north America. I love the wheel arches , which are typical of this series of Mercs. Autoarts 1:18 rendition of this beautifully styled coupé is close to perfect.

Karan, the last time you posted the black 300 SEL and made me get one too. Now you are doing it with this coupe. Think I should call up Nikhil and ask him to keep atleast the sedan for me, though I will settle for the cheaper Sunstar version. Just because I don't have the sea link in my back yard..

Sea link or no sea link, Winston, you CANNOT buy the Sunstar version. I looked at it in detail at GC, and it sucks beyond comprehension. Please please don't.

lol@Karan. That video is classic. I am really on a budget these days saving up for my holy grails. I love this generation of the Mercedes E class. These were the first Mercs I saw on our roads. I think the sedan version is nicely done by Sunstar. No competition to Autoart in the details dept but I think it will do.
