RE: Signature 1:18 1953 Jaguar XK120
Thanks Sid, even I noticed the focus in the last pic seems to be really good, don't know how I managed to get that one!!! I'll shoot some pics with all these classics on the garden bed with some flower beds in the background once I get back home next week. Signature 1:18's cost in the range of 2500 to 3500 apiece with a few at 2000. This one here cost me 2000, that's why I lapped it up, it was one of my first impulse purchases. I was simply hooked by the amazing finishing offered at only 2000 bucks. And the interesting fact is that I bought it at a time when I didn't have any eye whatsoever for vintages. Safe to say this was the one that got my interest stirred in vintages. I have two other Signatures in 1:18, the Duesenberg which I got for 25% discount at 1870 because the logo on the hood was a bit loose and the Pierce-Arrow for 3000 from Modelart Delhi. Check them out, I have posted reviews of both in the vintages section.

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)
