Thank you, Srinjay. Hit me up whenever you're here next. Smile

BTW, the photos of the north-east are stunning! I've visited the place once before, and I was blown at the astounding beauty of the region. The women are super cute, but those Jeep/ Jonga drivers gave me a heart attack every 5 minutes with their mad driving. One's got to admire their crazy skills though. Smile

Ravi, kick-ass photos of Chicago mate. I love the corn-cob building (Marina Towers) by Bertrand Goldberg - his modernist designs are inspiring. I see the Trump Tower finally fully finished, which is great. You've taken a great picture of the "bean"; did you know it is by an Indian sculptor, Anish Kapoor? Such a brilliant piece of work. Good angles and photos mate! Smile

RE: The 'My miscellaneous photos' thread
@Manishalive : When I'd been to Singapore I'd seen a RR Phantom right in front of this place and that was the only RR I'd seen during my entire trip.

@Karan :Which part of North-east have you been to??? Being in Bengal, I've visited most of it and the roads to North Sikkim are the deadliest among all. Seven hours of drive to a place called Lachen in North Sikkim from Gangtok and 60-70% of the roads are like what you've seen in these pics. But the drivers are very cautious and safe and I must say that Mahindra Maxx is a fabulous vehicle. I started driving when I was 9 and I've never ever seen roads which scared the shit out of me, till I saw the ones here. Dude you need some balls to drive around these narrow bends. I guess people in the hills are born with it.

@Ravi: Lovely pictures of the sky-scrappers and that huuuuge chrome thing.

@ Srinjay: In the lobby of Regent hotel, nearby to the hard rock cafe. You will see a lot of exotics parked. I always have a merry time staring at the beauties.

One more from my side

The second photo of the rusty old iron pier is pretty interesting mate. Smile I wish it was a single arcade instead of a double.
Where did you take 'em?

That pic of the iron pier looks surreal. Don't ask for pics from me. Everywhere I look around here, I see shanties or more dreary construction sites. I know, I am a old pessimistic fart but I need to go out someday somewhere and take some pics.

If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit.
