@gf & @gugga: yes guys, you people are right. It's called "luchi'' in Bengali. Something similar to 'kachori'. The ones in the picture are basically luchi stuffed with green pea paste. It's called 'karai-shutir (green pea) kachori' in Bengali

The sad thing is Green peas are available round the year .

We have luchi (doesn't matter what climate it is) - which is like puri without any any stuffing and the one Abhi mentioned is simply a puri with stuffed peas.
