Revell 1:24 '70 Plymouth AAR 'CUDA
Friends,

Here is my Revell 1:24 '70 Plymouth AAR 'CUDA build, the kit I was lucky to find one in local shop.

However since it is an old kit. There are two issues.

1.) The wheel base of the chassis do not match the wheel openings. I came to know only after all the finishing (Lesson learned here).

2.) The decals are minimal for the kit compared to current generation one.

And so here are the pictures.

Please note xbhp tagged photos are not allowed on SMC.

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

Yes Sir, now I know why my other thread is missing Big Grin. And I forgot once you post to a particular forum, it becomes their property.

Thanks, you bet, I had to cut the smallest available brush by 75%, took about five brushes to get one.

On up now is 1941 Chevy truck, almost done will update soon.

It does NOT become their property. It is very much your property. Just FYI.

Oh I see, I thought it other wise. But the bigger question is what happened to my thread which is missing Sad.

For the body and big parts I use spray cans as Bosny is available quite freely, easy to use to. For smaller parts I use local fabric paints / acrylic and brush it on but the effect is not good. Buying tamia or Humdrol paints is out of question cause of price.

I think next time I will use the 10 bucks oil paints locally, I get good enough shades to complete my mechanicals and interiors Smile. Also in other forum I am documenting my 1:12 Rover Mini copper build. I am not getting time to finish her.

I am going to improvise a lot of detailing on her. Stay tuned.
